Police Hope Public Can Identify Suspect



The Janesville Police Department hopes the public can identify the suspect in an incident that occurred on the city's south side.

According to a news release, around 1:00 am on Tuesday a female was walking in the area of South Oakhill Avenue and Kellogg Avenue when a suspicious vehicle stopped in front of her.

The woman reported that the male driver of the vehicle opened the door and grabbed her elbow.  Reportedly the woman ran southbound and didn't see which direction the suspect vehicle went.

The vehicle is described as a dark colored older model mini van.
