A police officer is killed in a two-vehicle accident just north of the Rock-Dane County line.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office and Edgerton Fire Department responded to the two-vehicle crash at noon Monday in the 100 block of County N in the town of Albion.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office says a police officer, who was driving one of the vehicles was killed, and a female who was driving the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
No word on which law enforcement agency the offer belonged to.
