Sheriff's Office Kicks Off Community Supported Agriculture

Reap all the benefits of the garden without any of the work.

Community Supported Agriculture is providing fresh produce along with fresh skills.  The new program, which is part of the Rock County Sheriff's Office RECAP garden allows community members to pay to receive the produce from garden plots that the jail inmate tend.

Since 2005, the Sheriff's Office RECAP garden has been donating thousands of pounds of produce to local food pantries annually.

Applications for the $250 garden plots are available on the Sheriff's office's website.
