A 54-year-old Chicago man is dead after a traffic accident Tuesday night near Clinton. The State Patrol says Timothy Oleary was traveling south on Interstate 43 about 9:30 when he crashed into the rear of a semi near the Highway 140 overpass. The two vehicles traveled stuck together until coming to rest on the right shoulder. Authorties say Oleary was taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The Clinton and Beloit Fire Departments, Clinton police, and Rock County Sheriff's Office all assisted the State Patrol.
