Benefit For Alicia

Benefit for 9 year old Alicia Hill. Alicia has an incurable medical condition named Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type III (EDS). EDS is a connective tissue disorder that is affecting all of her joints and her several of her organs. Because of the EDS Alicia has developed Gastroparesis which means her stomach is paralyzed and can not process food easily. Alicia has required feeding tubes in the past to get her the nutrition she needs. Alicia also suffers from POTS and autonomic neuropathy which means she can not regulate her temperature and gets dizzy easily among other symptoms. Finally Alicia suffers from Pseudo-Obstruction which basically means her intestines shut down, her abdomen dilates out, and is extremely painful. Alicia deals with pain every day of her life. All the conditions Alicia has are incurable and Alicia will require on going medical treatment. She has already endured 10 surgeries and will soon go in for her 11th. This benefit is being held to help the Hill family with medical expenses for Alicia. At the benefit there will be a buffet lunch, dessert sale, 50/50 raffles, bucket raffles, kids games, and an auction. The buffet lunch will be $7/adult and $5/kids.
