Town of Beloit officials are seeing success in a five year effort to reduce serious traffic accidents caused by speed and alcohol.

Beloit Town Administrator Bob Museus says fewer tickets were issued between 2006 and 2007, but that does not mean they are letting up on their enforcement program.

Museus says there was a slight increase in the number of accident over the last reporting period, but most of them were weather-related.

How are they harassing and what is "no good reason"?

I, along with several other people I know, avoid the Beloit Township as much as possible. They've begun to make a name for themselves, obviously their plan. Of course, they are also getting to the point of harassing people and pulling people over for no good reason. I can see the point of reducing accidents, but these guys are getting ridiculous.
