— Volunteers are needed to fight an invasive plant in a Rock County park.

Coordinator, Nancy Pope, is looking for people who can help pull Garlic-Mustard plants at Carver-Roehl Park Saturday and Tuesday.

Pope says if you're interested, wear old clothes and bring gloves. The work will take place on the north side of the 53 acre park near Clinton Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and again Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Pope says they've already got commitments from some area clubs and are looking for about 100 volunteers.

Questions.. call Nancy Pope at 608-676-4606.
