Janesville's Plan Commission holds a public hearing Monday on plans for city growth.

One of the plans up for review is the Comprehensive Plan, which shows future growth and has been in the works for about two years. That plan has come under scrutiny by the Sustainable Janesville committee, whose members say the city isn't doing enough to promote farmland conservation. Since the Sustainable Janesville committee wants to further review the Comprehensive Plan, the committee is asking the City Council to delay adoption of the plan. However, the Plan Commission could still approve the Comprehensive Plan at Monday's meeting.

How do they figure Janesville will grow when we have lost GM, Lear, etc., and possibly Lab Safety?
