Inquiry made about Janesville's GM plant helping with Pentagon contract
Congressman Paul Ryan's office is asking Oshkosh Corporation if the Janesville General Motors plant could be used to help fill a $1 billion Pentagon order.
Ryan Chief of Staff Andy Speth says inquiries began months ago about Oshkosh Corporation developing a working relationship with Janesville's General Motors plant.
Oshkosh Corporation plans to see whether other manufacturers could help fill the contract for more than 2200 military all-terrain vehicles.
