Feingold says Janesville would benefit from public health care
U.S. Senator Russ Feingold (D-Wis) uses Janesville as an example as he makes his case for a public health insurance option.
"A public health insurance option would be invaluable to families in Janesville and other parts of the state who have recently been laid off, because it is a guaranteed, affordable option that can travel with an individual from job to job," Feingold said.
"A public health insurance option would also make a tremendous difference to our small business owners who face crippling health care costs while trying to keep their businesses open."
Feingold made his comments during a speech Thursday from the Senate floor.

government equals waste, the more money you give it, the more waste.

"Socialism by any other name" ... is the fire department, the police department, waste disposal, the military, Social Security, (you-fill-in-the-blank-community-taxpayer-services). Just another "red herring" argument to strike an irrational fear in those who aren't aware and not a valid reason to deny basic universal health care for a strong and healthy nation.

Socialism by any other name.
Reform the legal industry, reform the insurance industry, and most of all, reform the greedy, misguided, the-world-owes-me-everything idiots, but keep the government out of my private life!

Feingold is correct. Sadly, most people will believe the outright LIES of the CPRights commercials out of fear. Of course my British, Canadian, and German friends complain about their government health care! But, they are also completely shocked, appalled and "gobsmacked" that Americans allow our inefficient, RATIONED, and disciminatory health policies reign unabatted for only those who can afford care. EVERYONE throughout the world complains about their type of health care but those who make the effort to learn the truth about care in Canada, England, and all the other "developed" nations who are paying a fraction of our costs per capita (including in taxes) will discover comprehensive and universal health care is absolutely possible. Single-payer, universal coverage is more about health and well-being for ALL than enriching insurance companies and allowing political opportunists to promote myths.
