National Weather Service confirms Milton tornado
National Weather Service Meteorologist Rusty Kapela has completed his survey of the Clear Lake area near Milton, and determined the sudden storm Tuesday night included a tornado.
Kapela says some downed trees, and a displaced porch, warrant the lowest tornado classification of a F0.
He says wind speeds probably reached between 65 and 75 miles an hour, and the tornado was probably on the ground for only a minute or so.
