Angel Servin

Beloit police say they're making progress in a three month old drive-by shooting death.

Beloit Police Captain Bill Tyler says a 20-year old has been arrested on charges related to the death of 18-year-old Joseph Debuque. Debuque was killed by gunfire in the afternoon of February 8th, while sitting in a car at the intersection of Sixth Street and Olympian Boulevard. Police say suspects from another car fired repeatedly into Debuque's vehicle.

Angel Servin of Beloit is under arrest.

I wasn't "bragging" you idiot. I was saying it's funny how people talk about him like he's guilty of this murder but he was never charged...and for the drugs he got 4 years. I find it hard to believe he'd get 4 years for drugs AND murder...?

Bragging that your fiance "only got" 4 years. Classy.

i am very proud to be with him! =] The jokes on all of you because he was never charged with the murder and got 4 years. HAHA. Good slap in the face to all of you who have nothing better to do that leave negative comments about somebody you don't know. =] It's quite flattering actually =]

Whatever-you find it funny that people are still leaving "negative" comments after a year. I find it funny that your so proud to be with this loser that you keep leaving comments after a year....

And "padebella", he is serving his time, and he hasn't complained at all about it because he himself even knew that he deserves some prison time, but one thing you're wrong about, he hasn't been in trouble with the law multiple times...the reason he was able to get the bare minimum for the drug charges was that he didn't have a prior record. Like I said, he was never charged with Joey's murder because he had nothing to do with it.

i find it funny that people are still leaving negative comments over a year later. If Angel is guilty of killing Joey then why was he never charged??? He got 4 years with credit of time he already served. Gee, I had no idea somebody could get off so easily for murder AND drugs. "princess" your comment is completely ignorant. I'd love to know how you know that his family doesn't live here, are you stalking them or something? We don't "think" he's a good person, we KNOW what a wonderful man he truly is. "I hope he rots in hell for killing somebody". You're also .going to be judged one day for being so judgmental to others that you don't know. Congratulations, I'm glad to know that people are so obsessed with my fiance that they would come on here over a year later just to say negative things about him "LMAO". Get a clue. As for the question by "Yada", no, they haven't arrested anybody else for Joey's murder. I think we need to get detective in there that know what they're doing, because the ones assigned to this case...clearly don't.

for those of you who "think" Angel Servin is a decent human being your are WRONG! I guess his "family" that doesnt even live here would have no clue the type of person he really is...Of course his family would have a BIASED opinion of him...either way his ass is getting indicted and I hope he rots in jail for taking an innocent life..btw heres how "good" of a person he is LMAO!

What... EVER! He comes off as a street punk. If others are also involved, it will just be a matter of time before they're picked up as well.
.
And just how MANY things should he have on his record before he's arrested... What a moronic comment! Perhaps getting him off the streets NOW and behind bars will keep him from murdering someone I KNOW!!!

I say I know all about those messages and what he supposevly said about being a gang leader, and I know once again, they're doing everything they can to make it look like hes a terrible person.

If you read the article close enough, he said he's trying to get this witness to ADMIT THAT HE LIED. because he did lie.

A drive by shooting - firing repeatedly into Debuque's vehicle... I sure wouldn't call this a "little oops, my bad".
.
You get a bunch of pumped up punks who run around looking like gang-bangers... with guns. Someone inevitably gets seriously hurt or killed.
.
I don't have to personally "know him" to know his TYPE. Another thug in the making.
.
Lets see how tough he is in prison!

bobb1951-"Young and dumb is no excuse for a murder. Sounds as he willingly wanted to commit this MURDER to impress his 'peers'"

Funny that you say that because nobody ever said young and dumb is an excuse, the people defending him are defending him because they believe he's INNOCENT

And as for the part about him willingly wanting to commit the murder to impress his peers, YOU dont know him at all, and there havent been any details given about the case other than his trial getting post-poned 3 times, you're not God, so don't judge him, especially when you know absolutely NOTHING about him.

Get a life.

FYI...all drug charges against him were dropped by the prosecutors office and the domestic abuse charge stemmed from an arguement with his sister when she was in the wrong and Angel himself called the police to come take over the situation. Prior to that incident he even preferred to punch a wall instead of the same sister which resulted in a broken hand. FYI...he and his sister have grown up now and love and respect each other as it should be. SO... people who like to judge others without the facts, maybe they should keep their comments to themselves before they try to encourage another innocent life to go down the tubes. To Joey's family...my heart goes out to you especially to his mother as it is we the mothers who suffer the greatest from the time we bring our beautiful babies into this less than perfect world til the time we or they depart from us. RIP Joey.

Well the drug charges were dismissed.
The domestic dispute shouldn't even be in the newspaper because he was 17, he was legally a minor!

Also, don't you think that if he was really a bad person like people want to think he is, they'd have more than TWO things on his record?

The BPD need to quit being lazy and find the real killer, its was joeys family AND angels family both deserve!

All of you just joined. Since some of you are famly, how can you say he is such "a very caring and soft spoken young man", when CCAP says:
.
When he was just 17 years old he was arrested and convicted of " Disorderly Conduct/Domestic Abuse"
.
When he was 19, he was arrested for dealing drugs.
.
Now his associations and his OWN choices have put him BACK into the court system.
Too bad he didn't learn anything from his first few arrests!

It is a fool who follows blindly. If the police dept. and the prosecuting attorney's office had rock solid evidence against this man, then why has his arraignment been postponed not once but twice already?? If they have done their jobs properly and they've sufficient evidence to prove the allegatiopns against this man are true, then they should not have any problem getting him to court on time, which in most of the free world is within 72 hours. Either proper investigation into the allegations against this man were NOT followed thru and now what evidence they thought they had against him is now disintegrating or there is a blatant disregard toward the rights of the accused. Either way....there's a gross negligence from your officials and as a citizen you should DEMAND better. ! ! ! "

I know this young man but not as well as I wish I could because I live in Montana. I know from the time he was little he has been a very caring and soft spoken young man. I saw this first hand when I spent 3 months with them four years ago. I really feel the police and investigators need to dig a lot deeper to find the real shooter of the other young man. My prayers and love are always with Angel because I am proud to say he is my Grandson.
