State Senator Judy Robson supports nursing survey
State Senator Judy Robson of Beloit says in an effort to paint a clearer picture of the current and future labor market in the profession, registered nurses in Wisconsin will be required to complete a confidential survey.
Robson says a tremendous demand for new nurses is expected in the coming years. The information gathered about education, work history, commuting distance, and reasons for wanting to stay or leave the profession, will help the state better plan to meet future workforce needs.
The Department of Workforce Development predicts 8,000 nurses will be needed each of the next ten years to fill new jobs and replace health care workers leaving the field.

Another piece of government intrusion that is not needed. It would be bad enough if it was voulintary, but to require it is wrong.
