WCLO's Steve Benton reports on the latest Janesville burglary to occur with the residents at home

— Janesville police are investigating another burglary while the residents were sleeping.

Lt. Tim Hiers says the intruder entered an east side home through a patio door and grabbed a purse and electronic equipment before fleeing. The homeowner told police their dog woke them up around 3 am Tuesday morning and by the time they discovered the open patio door, the intruder was gone.

Police found the purse, missing only a few dollars, along the path the intruder used to escape. No injuries are reported.
