Beloit liquor store may be punished for underage sales
A Beloit liquor store owner faces sanctions for underage alcohol sales.
The Beloit Alcohol Beverage License Control Committee recommends a ten day license suspension for the owner of Liberty Food and Liquor. The suspension is to serve as punishment for underage alcohol sales at the store in May and November.
The city council is scheduled to authorize the summons for the owner to appear at a hearing Monday night.
