Fresh snow brings new recreational activities in Rock County's Parks.

Parks Director Lori Williams says parts of the the snowmobile trail have been rerouted to accommodate corn left standing in the field.

Williams says more snow opens up cross country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. She says there's skiing in Carver-Roehl, Magnolia Bluff and Gibbs Lake parks. She says enthusiasts can snowshoe nearly anywhere.

For up-to-date snowmobile trail information, call the parks department at 757-54-58 or log on to travelwisconsin.com.
