The latest unemployment figures for Wisconsin show increases across the board.

The Department of Workforce Development report indicates the December unemployment rate increased in all 12 Metropolitan Statistical Areas from the previous month. The Janesville MSA rate is at an even eleven percent, up from 10.9 percent the month before. On an annual basis, unemployment rates also increased in all 72 counties. Dane County still has the lowest rate at 5.4 percent.

Statewide unemployment is now more than eight percent.
