WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on plans for a Domestic Violence Intervention Team in Janesville

The Janesville Police Department is joining with the YWCA Rock County and Rock County District Attorney's office to form a Domestic Violence Intervention Team.

Police Chief David Moore says the DVI Team will conduct follow-up visits to victims of domestic violence incidents. A Janesville Officer will be accompanied by a YWCA Advvocate.

The goals are to protect domestic violence victims, reduce incidents, offer services, and hold abusers accountable.
