Autopsies are scheduled Monday for the victims of a double shooting in Beloit.
Beloit Police Captain Bill Tyler says officers responded to a reported shooting near Roosevelt Avenue and Parker Court just after midnight Sunday. They found two victims in a vehicle, who were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The victims are identified as 27-year-old Cortez Johnson and 24-year-old Latoya Payton, both of Beloit. Their vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant.
