UW-Whitewater supports state export program

WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on UW-Whitewater's support of state program to help Wisconsin businesses build export markets

The State Department of Commerce is teaming up with UW-Whitewater to bolster business efforts in overseas export markets.

UW-Whitewater's Global Busienss Resource Center will partner with the State's Global Partnership Services program. The Department of Commerce reports only one-in-seven Wisconsin businesses have any export marketing plan.

Commerce Secretary Richard Leinenkugel and Chancellor Richard Telfer made the announcement on the UW-Whitewater campus Wednesday afternoon.
