Four burglary suspects arrested Tuesday
JANESVILLE Four Janesville men were arrested Tuesday on charges of burglary and theft by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and deputies from its special investigations unit.
Arrested were:
* Zachary L. Trezek, 18, of 426 Center Ave., Janesville.
* Gregory C. Lehr, 18, of 109 N. Atwood Ave., Janesville.
* Adam J. Hollis, 17, 426 Center Ave., Janesville.
* Dylan R. Lambert, 18, 201 N. Grant, Janesville.
Search warrants were issued Tuesday for residences at 424 and 426 Center Ave., locations where detective were looking for stolen property, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Recovered were $40,000 of items including: a snowmobile, a motorcycle, high-performance racing parts, a flat-screen TV, luggage, tools, collectible coins, a go-kart, several sets of vehicle wheels, golf clubs and an assortment of other items that will be returned to their respective owners, the release said.
Detectives had been investigating burglaries to numerous individual storage facilities since November 2009 in townships outside the Janesville city limits. They recovered the property during consent searches and during two search warrants. Property also was recovered from burglaries that took place in Janesville and Beloit Township, the release said.
The investigation continues with more counts of burglary and theft anticipated.
The four suspects will make their initial court appearance at 1 p.m. Monday, April 12.
