A Janesville man is in custody on two counts of attempted first degree intentional homicide.

Police say 25-year-old Samuel Morrow and his roommate, 27-year-old John Tek, went to a house in the 400 block of S. High St. so Tek could take custody of his child from a woman in the house. The two entered the house without permission. An argument ensued and Tek left the residence with his child. Police say after Morrow left, he turned and fired multiple shots through the front door. Eileen Than was shot in the head and Robert Bowman was shot in the back. As of early Friday morning, both were in critical condition. Several others inside were unhurt.

Tek was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, then released with a court date.

Morrow is currently in custody at the Rock County Jail.
