Beloit bank robbery suspect at large

A male suspect is at large after holding up Blackhawk State Bank at 400 Broad Street in Beloit.

Police say the man presented a note to a teller at about 3:30 Tuesday afternoon stating he had a weapon and demanding cash.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot toward the Wisconsin/Illinois border on Colby Avenue. No one was injured.

The photos are out of sequence. The 2nd photo is him approacing the teller. It appears he turned his hat around while at the counter.

if you look closely at photo 2, what looks like the brim is actually an extension of whats on the counter behind him.

Maybe he moved it around between the time both photos were taken?

Why in the first pic does he have his hat on backwards, 2nd pic its on forwards.
