Beloit bank robbery suspect at large
The Beloit Police Department is investigating a weekend bank robbery at Blackhawk State Bank on Cranston Road.
Officials say the suspect entered the bank shortly after 10am Saturday, demanded money from the teller, then after receiving the money fled on foot. The suspect implied he had a weapon, but did not display one.
He's described as a white male, in his mid to late 20s, 5'7" tall, with a narrow strip beard. At the time of the robbery, he was waering a black New York Yankees cap, a two-tone gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and clear safety glasses.

It appears to me as if he scouted camera locations and is deliberately avoiding it.

mentor397, the banks and insurance companies finally figured out that it was much better for everyone concerned to make the actual robbery pretty easy. For instance, in 2009, there were around 6000 bank robberies, but only 140 people were injured (9 of them perps); other than 21 perps, nobody was killed; and only in 47 instances were hostages taken. The identification rate for bank robberies is about 49 percent after one year (but many commit multiple robberies and it is not always possible to prosecute every instance).

Maybe they have bank security looking for Osama Bin Laden. I'm just saying there's gotta be a reason they haven't found him after looking for him all this time... I'd have never gone to college if I'd known it would be this easy to rob banks.
