It's sponsored by the Diversity Action Team of Rock County. Their goal is to eliminate racism and create an inclusive community of respect for all.
The facilitators for the program are Deidra Gorman and Kate Bennett. Gorman is a former human relations advisor for the Janesville School District and currently doing the same thing for the Monona Grove School District while Bennett teaches social studies and is the human relations advisor for Parker High School.
The program is scheduled for the evening of April 4th from 6:30 to 8. There's no charge and it's open to the public.
