A Janesville insurance agent takes a personal fundraiser on the road. Jaysen Jorgensen is doing a lot of bike riding these days. The State Farm Agent has pledged to peddle 1649 miles in June to help a Rock County charity which benefits homeless teens. The group is actually called Project 16:49, representing the time a child has between school days. Jorgensen is hoping his ride gains awareness and raises funds for the charity. He's also looking for 1000 likes on his face book page, I ride for 16:49. The 36-year-old family man expects to be in the saddle almost four hours a day, and says so far it's hardest on his legs, and young son.
