"Operation Last Drop" nets seven arrests in Janesville

Janesville police are finding success with specialized enforcement efforts. Sergeant Mike Blaser says a good example is this past weekend's "Operation Last Drop." It's a follow-up to last fall's "Project Sober Streets. The goal is to check on those individuals with multiple OWI offenses, and probationers restricted to a no drinking status. Officers conducted 17 home visits and 30 business checks at local bars. A total of seven people were taken to jail for alcohol and probation related offenses. Police say one suspect had five prior OWI offenses and a BAC of .11.
