Congressman Paul Ryan of Janesville says our current strategy in the "War on Poverty" isn't working. The Republican tells "Your Talk Show" on WCLO $15 trillion has been spent over half a century and 15% of Americans still live in poverty. Ryan says we need to measure the results of programs by their outcome. The question we need to answer is if everyone has an opportunity to reach their personal potential. Ryan urges everyone to get involved. He says it's not enough to say we pay taxes and leave it at that. He says people who get involved make a real difference in the lives of the poor.
