Milton's Highway 26 bypass opens soon

Traffic plans around Milton are picking up speed.  The Department of Transportation is confident the Highway 26 bypass project around Milton will serve its purpose.  DOT spokeswoman Teri Schopp hosted a public information session at Milton City Hall Monday night.  Milton Mayor Brett Frazier says community leaders have done what they can to prepare for the opening of the by-pass.   Many residents attending are looking forward to four-lanes eventually opening all the way north to Watertown.  The DOT says the project is on schedule and expected to be open to traffic Friday August 23rd.
