Janesville Job Fair planned

Times have changed when it comes to looking for a job. Nancy Alseth helps displaced workers at the Rock County Job Center. She says it's important to find out what skills and talents can be used for a new employer. With many companies using the Internet for their job searches, Alseth says it's difficult for some job seekers to demonstrate how they may stand out. She says the Rock County Job Fair planned for Wednesday in Janesville is a good opportunity. It gives job hunters a chance to meet prospective employers face to face. She advises being prepared, dressing properly, and having accurate work histories ready. The job fair is planned from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Pontiac Convention Center.
