A local state representative sounds a little disappointed his "Made in American" legislation failed to even get a vote in the Assembly. Democrat Andy Jorgensen of Milton says his proposal would require Wisconsin to buy American-made materials, when it comes to its infrastructure projects. The bill builds a law which prohibits the state from spending tax dollars on services overseas. He says it's in response to a disturbing new trend of states purchasing prefabricated bridges and building materials from China. Jorgensen says he's disappointed, time and again, to see his colleagues from across the aisle refuse to support good ideas.
