Five arrested after Janesville stabbing



A 23-year-old Fort Atkinson man is stabbed, and an 18-year-old Janesville man beaten, in what Janesville police describe as a difficult situation to sort out because of the changing stories among those involved.  Police say they ended up arresting five people after responding to a report of a stabbing at 408 South Jackson Street around 9:30 Thursday night.  While on the scene, police say the supposed suspect in the stabbing, Andrew V. Donaldson, turned up at the police department seeking assistance after being beaten.  Among those arrested, the stabbing victim, George A. Helmick, on a charge of battery.  20-year old Ryan J. Eberley of Janesville on a charge of Battery.  22-year-old Kristopher R. Arsenty of Janesville on a charge of Obstructing an Officer.  19-year-old Tianna N. Mizener of Janesville on a charge of Obstructing an Officer.  Donaldson was also arrested on a charge of Obstructing an Officer.  Police say they are trying to sort out if the stabbing was in self defense.
