Clinton Man Sentenced in Federal Court

A Clinton man is sentenced to five years in federal prison for his role in a cocaine drug deal.

Tuesday, a federal jury in Madison sentenced 32-year-old Johnny Espinoza to five years for aiding and abetting his brother in a 2012 drug deal.

The two came up with $24,000 and attempted to buy a kilogram of cocaine from an undercover police officer and a confidential informant in Beloit.

Johnny Espinoza's brother, Jose Espinoza, was sentenced last December to six and a half years for his role in the drug deal.
