AUDIO: Recycle Your Burnt Out Chritmas Lights

Your old burnt out holiday lights could just help a lucky UW-Rock County student with tuition.

For the sixth year, the Anna Schenker Memorial Scholarship fund is collecting broken and unwanted strings of holiday lights to recycle, with the money going towards a scholarship for a UW-Rock County student.

Anna Schenker was a student at UW-Rock County eight years ago when she was killed in a car accident.

Broken and unwanted strings of lights can be dropped off a BMO Harris Bank in Janesville and Beloit, Michael's Cycles in Janesville, Beloit Health System, UW-Rock County, Mocha Moment in Janesville, Simple Scissors in Janesville, Burtness Chevrolet in Orfordville, and Bank of Broadhead.
