Beloit Fire fighters ask for help clearing snow and ice

With all the extreme winter weather in recent days, Beloit Fire officials are asking residents help.  Captain Dave Ferger says many fire hydrants are buried after the recent snowfalls, making them extremely difficult to find, especially at night.  He's asking residents to ensure they're cleared of snow, so they'll be ready in an emergency.  Ferger also says EMS has been responding to an increased number of calls about falls.  He urges residents to be sure their walkways are clear of snow and ice.
