Beloit Man Charged for Stabbing Roomate

A 51-Beloit man is facing a charge of attempted first degree homicide after authorities says he stabbed another man several times in the arm.

According to a news release, Beloit Police were dispatched to the Colley Road Trailer Park on the report of a domestic disturbance shortly before 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say Norman Bourgord got into an altercation with a 24-year-old man who also lives at the residence.

The victim received three knife wounds to his right arm, and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Bourgord was arrested and taken to the Rock County Jail, on suspicion of attempted first degree homicide, along with a outstanding drug warrant out of Alabama.
