Local School District celebrates Technical Education month

High school shop class isn't what it used to be. Beloit Memorial High School Career and Technical Education Director Ryan Rewey tells "Your Talk Show" on WCLO students are being prepared for the modern marketplace.  He says the training include computerized equipment and 3D machining.  The Beloit School District also plans to expand it's technical education curriculum.   Currently classes are being taught beginning at middle school, but one day they could start in Kindergarten.  Beloit Memorial High School plans to show off with an open house, including some very unique hand's on demonstrations.  The open house is planned for Wednesday February 19th from 4:30 to 6:00.
