Whitewater Man Sentenced for Violent Home Invasion

A 25-year-old Whitewater man is sentenced to 33 years in prison and 23 years of extended supervision in connection with a violent Town of Fulton home invasion.

Christopher Kimps plead guilty last November to five felony charges including armed robbery, theft of firearms, operating a motor vehicle without owners consent, possession of a firearm by a felon, and fleeing an officer.

Last January, Kimps and Jesse Adams entered a home, bound the residents with duct tape, and stole cash, guns, jewelry, and the victim's vehicle.

Kimps led officers on a high-speed chase across the Rock County court house lawn, before getting away. Kimps, Adams, and two females were arrested the next day in Wisconsin Dells.

Adams, Kayla Pearson, and Sarah Buckingham are scheduled to be sentenced in March.
