Democrat opposes Governor's tax cut plan
A local state representative is firing back at the Governor's tax cut plan, which has passed the Assembly. Democrat Andy Jorgensen of Milton calls the plan, to spend the state's projected one-billion dollar revenue surplus, "irresponsible". Jorgensen says the Governor's plan increases the state's structural deficit to more than $800 million. He'd like to see more of the money go to job training programs. Republicans argue the money came from taxpayers and should go back to them.
