Clinton Police Chief opposes resident's release
Recently promoted Clinton Police Chief Dave Hooker says he's not comfortable with 59-year-old Terrance P. Robinson being released back into his community. Robinson was accused last may of wrestling Hooker's gun away, and attempted to fire it several times. Rock County Judge James Daley Wednesday morning ordered the release of Robinson into a community treatment program, which includes supervised daily medication, drug testing, electronic monitoring, no access to weapons, and limited travel. Daley also expressed a level of discomfort with the release and grilled case workers in the courtroom about their plans to monitor Robinson's behavior and mental health.
