Fewer flu cases being seen

Rock County Health Department Nursing Director Janet Zoellner says the worst may be over.  She says the peak of this year's flu season may be past.  She describes it as a rather difficult year.  Part of the reason is the most common flu virus this year, is the same as caused the pandemic in 2009.  She adds the H1N1 virus is unusual because it seems to cause more problems for healthy young people.  Luckily, this year's immunization appears to offer good protection.  She says vaccine is still available.
