Clinton man arrested for fifth offense drunken driving



A Clinton man is arrested on suspicion of fifth offense OWI after a bar-time traffic stop.

According to a news release, a Janesville Police officer stopped a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jeremiah T. Smith in the area of North High Street and Race Street just after 1:30 on Sunday morning.

The Officer placed Smith under arrest after he was found to have a blood-alcohol concentration of point-one-zero.

Smith has four prior alcohol-related driving offenses, and a revoked driver's license.
