Evansville moves towards school referendum
Evansville School District voters will likely be asked a referendum question this fall. Gazette reporter Gina Duwe attended Wednesday night's school board meeting, where two options were recommended. The committee considered needs in the areas of curriculum, safety and security, facilities, and technology. The two choices include offering no more than three questions at the September 9th election, or a single combined question in November.
The committee did not make any recommendations on a final price tag for a referendum.
