A big turnout for Congressman Paul Ryan's listening session in Janesville. The Republican fielded a number of questions from a crowd of about a hundred during the listening session Wednesday morning in his hometown. Military spending was a repeated issue. The Republican is critical of President Obama's plans to transfer military spending to domestic programs. Many in attendance also expressed concern about the nation's energy policy and environment. Ryan's response centered on what country do we want to be dependent on oil. Security was also tight. More than a dozen Janesville police officers were on hand to keep the peace.
