Evansville loses city adminsitrator

The City of Evansville is looking for a new administrator.  After seven years on the job, Dan Wietecha is calling it quits.  He's told the council he's taking a similar position in Michigan.  This is no surprise to council members.  They knew Wietecha was looking for career advancement and had already budgeted money to hire a replacement.  Apparently no hard feelings at all.  City Council President Jim Brooks says it's been a pleasure working with Dan.  Brooks says the council will likely hire a professional search firm to help find a replacement.
