Investigators have made a ruling in a fatal Beloit fire. The cause of a fire, that killed two people and hospitalized another in Beloit on March 5th, is ruled accidental. Fire Lieutenant Jeremy Flanagan says the fire started in the dining room area of the home in the 1900 of Fairview Drive. The source is likely electrical. The investigation also suggests smoke detectors weren't enough to save the family members who perished. 61-year-old Clint Christensen and his 33 year-old daughter Jamie were killed in the fire. 60-year-old Caren Christensen was critically injured, but survived.
