Plans for a second Janesville Irishfest are moving ahead quickly. Organizers will have a little extra money to promote the event this year. Festival co-Chair Elizabeth Horvath tells "Your Talk Show" on WCLO the State Department of Tourism is awarding the event another Joint Effort Marketing Grant. Horvath says the $39,000 could make the event even more popular. Festival co-chair Dan Fredericks tells "Your Talk Show" on WCLO this year's event should be bigger and better. He says all the same organizations from last year plan to attend. Additions this year will include an expanded local talent show, Irish family reunion, cook-off, and a children's event at Palmer Park. The second annual event is planned for October 2nd through the 5th.
