Five injured in downtown Janesville accident
A five-year-old child is ejected from a minivan involved in a three-vehicle accident in downtown Janesville early Sunday evening. Janesville Police say a minivan was headed south on South Main Street when it ran a red light at East Court Street and hit a car. When the minivan rolled over, a five-year-old child was thrown from it, and landed in the street. A third vehicle was unable to stop and hit the car. The driver, and three children who were in the minivan were transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, along with one person from the car it hit. Police say none of the people involved were seriously injured. Janesville police are still investigating if seatbelts were worn.
