Governor signs Senate Bill 449 at Forward Janesville

Governor Scott Walker signs a tax credit transferability bill into law in Janesville.

The bill, authored by Republican Representative Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton allows for up to $15 million of economic development tax credits to be re-assigned over a three year period using a mechanism of pre-approvals and notifications that would be conducted by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and the Department of Revenue.

The Governor signed the bill into law Wednesday afternoon at Forward Janesville.
