Janesville man sentenced to 60 years for attempted murder



A Janesville man convicted of attempting to kill his ex girlfriend and her male friend with a small ax is sentenced to 60 years in prison.

Judge James Daley says 35-year-old Jeffrey Starkman failed to show remorse for his crimes.

In January Barthel was convicted of going to Patrick's home in Janesville and attacking her and Barthel with a small ax.  Doctors say both victims were lucky to be alive.
